Seachtain a hAon

Posted on January 15, 2014 by stops

As promised in our recent newsletter, we will post our new phrases for you to practise at home with your children. They will be simple phrases that we are encouraging all classes to use regularly throughout the school. Our aim is to have childen confident and competent in using cúpla focail, and that it will eventually be heard on the corridors, in the home, out at play and will be a natural form of communication. So here is the first set:

Dia duit    Hello

Dia is Muire duit   Response to hello

Más é do thoil é    Please

Go raibh maith agat   Thank you

Tá fáilte romhat   You’re welcome
