We are delighted to welcome our Comenius visitors to our school this morning. There is a great buzz of excitement around as we welcome teachers and pupils from schools in France, Wales, Denmark and Sweden.
The Comenius Programme is a European Union educational project. It concerns school-level education, and is part of the EU’s Lifelong Learning Prgramme. It aims “to help young people and educational staff better understand the range of European cultures, languages and values”.
The goal of the program is to have participation of more than three million students and teachers in international activities, thus improving mobility of students and teachers in the EU. We are delighted to welcome all the adults and boys and girls into our school and we look forward to showing them all about Ireland, Dublin and Malahide.
