Seachtain na Gaeilge

Our school has been celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge last week and this week. The children are working hard to learn their frásaí and to use them in school and at home. There are lots of fun activities in art, music and drama. Classes will participate in Tráth na gCéist (Table Quiz), Tóraíocht Taisce (Treasure Hunts), Ciorcal Comhrá agus Céilí Mór. The week will finish off with a Lá Glas (Green Day) on Friday 16th March and we welcome back Mó -Mó productions with their bi-lingual production of “An Tuar Ceatha Caillte”.
We are asking all children to contribute €2 towards the cost of this production. This can be given to the class teacher.
This is a great opportunity to practice using Gaeilge sa Bhaile.
